When getting a facial, how and when do I say NO to an "extraction"?

If you have ever had a facial, you've likely heard the term "extraction" - this procedure removes pore-clogging sebum. Some people might find an extraction quite painful whilst others hardly feel anything.

When you're about to get your facial and the thought of an extraction sends you into a slight panic, its best to be straight forward with the therapist before getting started.

Keep in mind that this is all about you - you are paying for a service and should feel comfortable enjoying it. Tell the therapist politely that you would rather not have "extractions" done or anything else that you don't enjoy. This will put your mind at ease and allow you to enjoy your treatment.
